Snow Monkey and Zenkoji Temple Day Tour
 

Full day cultural tour visiting the famous Snow Monkey Hot Springs and Zenkoji Buddhist Temple, with traditional Japanese lunch at the Masuichi sake brewery in the historic town of Obuse.

  • Tour includes transport, English speaking guide, entry to Monkey park, set lunch and visit to Zenkoji temple in Nagano city
  • Runs daily 14th Dec 2019 - 29th Feb 2020. Runs every Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat in Mar 2020
  • Departs 08:00 and returns 17:30
  • Choice of vegetarian, fish or beef for set lunch for adults.  Children's menu is set.

  • 8:00 - Depart Rhythm Rentals Wadano
  • 8:05 - Depart Happo Bus Terminal
  • 8:10 - Depart Spicy Rentals Echoland
  • 8:20 - Depart Hakuba Goryu Bus Stop
  • 9:25 to 9:35 - Toilet Stop
  • 10:00 - Arrive Kambayashi Onsen
  • 10:00 to 10:30 - Hiking in to Monkey Hot Spring
  • 10:30~11:30 - Monkey Hot Spring
  • 12:00 - Depart Kambayashi Onsen
  • 12:30 - Lunch at Obuse
  • 15:00 - Arrive Zenkoji Temple  
  • 15:00 to 16:00 - Guided Tour of Zenkoji Temple
  • 16:00 - Bus Departs Zenkoji Temple
  • 17:30 - Arrive Rhythm Rentals Wadano


Nozawa Onsen Dosojin Fire Festival

Nozawa's most famous festival is a must-see cultural experience!  The Dosojin festival is one of Japan's most celebrated fire festivals, where torch bearing villagers battle it out and thousands gather to celebrate and pray for the well-being and good fortune of the village and to ensure a plentiful harvest.

The Nozawa Onsen Dosojin Fire Festival takes place on 15th January 2020 and is only suitable for bookings which fall over this date.  Space is limited so book early!

  • Tour includes transport, English speaking guide, tasting Oyaki steamed buns, and traditional Japanese set menu dinner
  • Tour departs at 15:00 and returns at 01:30
